SIMPLE TUNIC MAKING WORKSHOP- HOW TO MAKE YOUR FIRST "GARB" HISTORICAL CLOTHING

If you are new to SCA, this workshop is for you!

Workshop   is how to make your own basic Tunic to wear- its multi-gender and can   be customized to the era and geographic location of your choice. Its   usually people's first historical "Garb" to wear.

This  workshop is a beginner sewing workshop. Hand sew or machines (available  to learn on) or just watch. Item to sew is a Basic Historical Tunic.

First   easy sewing project.  They do clever things like: take one of your   shirts and use that as your pattern, then extend longer to make a  tunic.  Add trim. Viola!

Light fare pot luck. $5 or more donation. Free for LUUF attendees.
Open to the public

Historical   dress Encouraged, not required. Dress in the spirit of medieval  Europe,  Asia or  North Africa. Effort is valued over accuracy.
